Why should I service my air-conditioner?

Regular AC servicing and maintenance keeps your unit running at maximum efficiency, significantly extends the lifetime of a unit, and reduces your overall operating costs. In addition, routine maintenance will ensure that your unit qualifies for the full warranty of up to ten years rather than just the standard manufacturer's warranty.

How often should I have my air-conditioner maintained?

Domestic units used for cooling that are not in constant use generally require six services per year. Units in offices or server rooms should be maintained at least twelve times per year to keep them running at their optimum level. Areas with higher levels of pollution or contaminants in the air, such as kitchens, hairdressers, or factories, may require additional service and repairs, which we can handle on a case-by-case basis.

How do you prep before working?

Before servicing any unit, we ensure the power is off, plugs are removed, and there are no loose hanging wires. After a preliminary check, we check that there are no missing components from the unit before dismantling it. Once these steps are complete, we cover the surrounding floor with disposable paper and commence our deep cleaning service. We clean all surfaces and ensure there are no dirty spots before leaving the site.

Do you provide a free service?

No. All our prices for site surveys, AC cleaning, and repairs are chargeable. See all our services and their prices here.

How do I check the engineer’s authenticity?

Your safety is important to us. Prior to dispatching, our service executive will share a unique code and the engineer's Aadhar Card detail with you over email. Please confirm the unique code and his Aadhar details upon arrival before letting our engineers into your space.

Can I get free technical support after service?

Yes, absolutely! For technical assistance, simply call +91 033-4044-1898 between 10:00 am – 7:00 pm IST (MON-SAT).

Refunds

While most online e-commerce companies have a hidden refund policy, we take pride in showcasing ours. We hope our transparent policy will help you make an informed decision about what to purchase from our site.

These answers should help answer all questions:

 

Your service didn't meet my expectations, and I want a refund!

First, we are sorry to hear that we didn't live up to your expectations. Because we only want to provide the best AC service to our customers, we have a "no questions asked" refund policy. This policy entitles all users who have booked a service on the site to claim a refund within 14 days (including holidays) if they are unsatisfied with the quality of the service. Please notify us for a refund via email only at order@999services.com. All refunds will be at the sole discretion of 999services.com.

The website crashed after I made a payment! What do I do?

In an unforeseen situation in which the payment gateway doesn't lead to an order success page, please email us with the proof of purchase, which is typically sent via SMS and email. We will attempt to locate that payment for 48 hours. If we are unable to do so, we will refund your entire amount.

Do I have to supervise/monitor your engineer during service?

While not required, we highly recommend that you supervise our engineer at all times. We exercise extreme precaution while handling your machine. However, please inform our engineers of any fragile or valuable items near your air conditioner. It will be helpful for us if you remove smaller valuable items, such as jewellery, wallets, etc., from the service area. 999services.com will not be responsible or liable for any damage caused to any article inside your house.

My air conditioner was running properly after service, but now it's not working. What do I do?

As a standard practise, we will monitor your air conditioner's performance for 30 minutes after completing a service to ensure it is running properly. After completion of service, the time, date, location, unique identification, and all relevant details will be recorded on a work completion document that the customer must sign.

Anomalies within 12 hours of service: We will do a free survey to check for anomalies. All charges for repair service will apply should you choose to go ahead with fixing the anomalies. You are not entitled to any refunds.

Anomalies after 12 hours of service: We will not provide a refund! Please book a survey so we can assess your air conditioner.

How long does it take to get a refund?

Refunds will be made to the same bank, credit, or debit card used to purchase the service. Typically, it takes between 7 – 14 working days for the refund to reflect in your statement.

I have purchased a refurbished AC or accessory. Can I cancel it?

No. All refurbished AC and accessories sales are final, and no refunds or cancellations are possible.

I placed a one-time order by mistake. Can I cancel it?

Yes! If you wish to cancel your booking, please call us immediately at +91 9326 031-318 or send an email to order@999services.com. Please note that there is a time restriction to receive your refund, so act quickly.

Within 2 hours of receiving an order confirmation email: You are entitled to a full refund.

After 2 hours of receiving an order confirmation email: You are not entitled to a refund.

 

I have booked a service and confirmed my date/time preference. Can I change it?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our business, we are unable to alter a booking once it has been confirmed. Keep your phone by you after you place an order to make sure your appointment is scheduled at a convenient time for you. Our delivery team will contact you within one hour of your order placement with two options for a date of service. If they are unable to reach you by phone, they will determine a date of service and email it to you. This date is not changeable! You are not entitled to a refund if that date is changed or modified.

My unit had an unknown malfunction that was discovered during the pre-deep cleaning inspection, and then my service was cancelled. What do I do?

As a standard protocol, we do not deep clean or service a broken down air conditioner. Our engineers will inspect your air conditioner for 15 minutes before commencing any activity. If there are any malfunctions discovered during this time, we will stop our service and give you store credits to purchase a survey from us. The full amount is redeemable towards another survey and is not refunded.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Subscription services are non-refundable and non-transferable. Our service delivery executive will email you within one hour of your order placement for confirmation of subscription. Upon confirmation, you will not be able to make any changes or cancellations to that order for the duration of service.

Within 2 hours of receiving an order confirmation email: You are entitled to a 50% refund.

After 2 hours of receiving an order confirmation email: You are not entitled to a refund.

Mid-way: You are not entitled to a refund.

Our subscriptions do not automatically renew. If you want to try our cleaning services before signing up for a subscription, you can order a one-time deep cleaning service

Refurbished AC FAQ’s

 

What does refurbished mean?

Refurbish means to overhaul, renew, and restore any durable electrical item. All our refurbished air conditioners go through an extensive inspection, restoration, and quality control process before reaching you.

Why should I buy a refurbished AC?

Most importantly, you'll save a lot of money. Buying a used AC isn't the same as buying refurbished. When you buy a used AC, you'll still have to deal with most of its faults and issues. When you buy a refurbished AC, especially from us, you can be sure it's been rigorously tested to make sure it works perfectly. Because we renovate and recondition our refurbished AC’s, they can perform better than new ones!

What is the difference between refurbished and second-hand AC?

A second-hand, or used, AC does not come with a warranty. In most cases, a used AC has defects and does not ensure perfect cooling. Refurbished air-conditioners from 999services.com provide perfect cooling, even in the wildest summer months.

Do your refurbished AC units come with a warranty? 

Yes, all refurbished AC’s purchased on our website come with a full one-year/six-months free unlimited replacement program. That means we'll give you a new refurbished AC if you discover any malfunction within one year. After one year, we'll be able to make all minor and major repairs on a chargeable basis.

What is the difference between refurbished and new AC?

A refurbished AC has been overhauled with genuine parts to ensure it performs perfectly, every time. A new AC is an unused AC that is free of defects. Generally, refurbished AC’s work as well as new ones and cost a lot less.
